Award of the Elephants Heart

Awarded to Vyāsayati Maurya (modernly known as Christopher Michael Granahan)

By the Barony of Cynnabar on 2017-11-04

It is right that those who offer to Us unbroken friendship
and loyalty should be protected by Our aid.

And since Vyāsayati Maurya, a faithful man of Our militia,
coming here in Our stronghold with his arms, has seen fit
to demonstrate trust and fidelity to Us and Our people,
therefore We, Kasha and Ermenrich, Baroness and Baron
of Cynnabar, decree and command by the present precept
that for the future he will be counted with the number of
Our people. Thus We grant unto him Our Award of the
Elephant’s Heart. And if anyone perchance should
presume to kill him, let him know that he will be judged
guilty of his wergild of 600 shillings.

Let none countermand Our words.
