All those who have come to Our hand are huscarls; but honors and authority are distributed among them according to the merits of each. For We help and promote those whom We find anxious to remain truly affectionate toward Our people.

Thus We exalt Úlfrún Barefooted, who has won favor by her good deportment at Court. For it is courtesy to be friendly, humble, ready to serve, and elegant in speech; to know how to behave properly while conversing or making merry with others; and to know when to stand or sit, when to rise or kneel. It is also courtesy to know when one ought to let one’s hands drop gently and to keep them quiet, or when one ought to move them about in service for others.

Cognizant of her considerable talents and generous service, Kasha and Ermenrich, Baroness and Baron of Cynnabar, grant unto Úlfrún Our Award of the Elephant’s Heart. Let none countermand Our words.
