Company of the Defenders of the Tower

Awarded to Thomas Throckmorton (modernly known as Thom Dowds)

By the Barony of Cynnabar on 2018-08-08

The Baroness and Baron of Cynnabar to Our trusty and right well-beloved people, We greet you well.

Whereas heretofore upon the advertisements, from time to time and from sundry places, of the preparations of foreign forces to invade this Our Barony, We gave directions unto Thomas Throckmorton for the preparing of Our militia for any attempt that might be made against Us, which We find so well performed that We cannot but receive great contentment thereby, so would We have it made known that We require him forthwith to call together the best soldiers in Our militia and to look that they should have a larger proportion of furniture, thereby to be in their best strength.

Thus We appoint him to Our Company of the Defenders of the Tower, and We assure Ourselves that his loyal heart will be so blessed that all the attempts of his enemies shall be frustrated, to their confusion, to his comfort, and to the glory of Cynnabar. Let none countermand Our words.
